What You Will Do:

• Excavate around buried utilities, traffic areas, tight spaces, and near buildings, while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, mini excavators, and skid steers to dig, grade, and compact earth, sand, gravel, and stone for plumbing repairs.
• Perform sewer repairs up to 7 feet deep (or more) using necessary shoring equipment.
• Work on trenchless sewer repair projects.
• Safely and efficiently operate machinery for excavation and grading.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure it's in optimal working condition.
• Follow and enforce all safety, environmental, and compliance standards on-site.
• Communicate effectively with plumbers, supervisors, drivers, crew members, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Read and interpret measurements, plans, and blueprints as needed.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience in excavating and performing sewer repairs in deep trenches (7 feet or more).
• Skilled in excavating around buried utilities, tight spaces, traffic areas, and working near overhead wires and buildings.
• Experience operating backhoes, excavators, and skid steers.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and environmental requirements.
• Comfortable pulling trailers with equipment when necessary.
